These are the terms for using Cora, the colour app at app.cora-colour.com. By using it you agree to them. They are short because the product is.
What Cora is
Cora reads the colour of a garment from a photo, names it, and can recolour the garment in the photo to a chosen colour. All of that runs on your device. Cora is in beta: it is free, it is being improved, and it can change.
Using Cora
- You can use Cora without an account. An account is only needed to keep your colours and photos across devices.
- You are responsible for the photos you take and upload, and you must have the right to use them.
- Do not use Cora to break the law, to harm others, or to try to reach data that is not yours.
- Do not copy, reverse engineer or resell Cora. The app, its colour data and its name belong to us.
Your content
Your photos and the colours you save are yours. We do not claim any rights over them and we do not use them for anything except showing them back to you and, if you are signed in, syncing them to your account storage. Our privacy page says where they are kept.
Colour readings
Cora measures colour from a photo taken under whatever light you are in. Cameras, lighting and screens all affect colour. A reading is a good guide, not a laboratory measurement. It is your decision how you describe an item you sell.
The beta
- Cora is provided as it is, without warranties. We will try to keep it working and to keep your saved data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable or lose data. Keep copies of photos that matter to you.
- Every feature is free during the beta. If we introduce paid plans, we will say so on the site before anything changes, and nothing you have saved will be taken away.
- We may change or remove features. If we plan to close the service we will give reasonable notice.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses arising from how you describe items you sell using a Cora reading. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using Cora at any time. To delete an account, see the privacy page. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
